Fused Glass Bowl – Lakes, Mountains & Sky

Inspired by the quiet stillness of lakes framed by surrounding hills and open sky, this one-of-a-kind fused glass bowl explores landscape through colour, texture and form.

The layered blue centre reflects the depth and calm of water, while the surrounding textures and tones are suggestive of land and atmosphere — mountains rising, light shifting, and sky meeting earth. Subtle detailing and variation in the surface of the glass create movement and interest, with each angle revealing something slightly different.

Individually hand cut, arranged and kiln-fired in my studio, this bowl is a unique piece designed to be both sculptural and functional, equally at home as a centrepiece or a purely decorative artwork.
